Death Wobble

I was told that my Truck had DEATH WOBBLE!! When I get up to speed and hit a small bump the whole front end shakes very violently. Tires are ballanced, hubs are good. It has a Skyjacker 4 inch lift with 36 inch tires. I was also told to tighten the trackbar but im not sure how. Please advise!!!

Refer to this thread: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=220996

In addition, BFG tires have been found to be a contributor as well.

My 07 had it bad as well, after the whole front end was replaced and a wheel alignment was performed. Turned out the alignment shop adjusted my castor to stock values and with a lift the castor needs to be maxed out. I adjusted mine in 5 min. and DW is gone now. Not sure if a 97 has the ability adjust castor. Good luck.

Replace the bushing(s) and or heim joint on the track bar if it's loose.
