does any one have a cummins adapter kit to gm automatic for sale? 515-202-8090

 

Why do you want to do this? Are you swapping a Cummins into a Chevy?

Try finding a 4bt Cummins from a bread truck, they have a chevy adapter on them. I just sold one!!

 

i have 3 bta and none of them have the adapter how much did you get out of yours i need 2 or 3 complete packages. do you know where to get them? rod

 

Advance has a package available to stick a GM 400 or the newer OD version of that transmission behind the B series Cummins. http://www.advanceadapters.com

These guys can get you the entire engine and automatic package in a used bread truck for cheap: http://www.chambersmotorco.com/

For the most part, it is not wise to use the GM automatic behind the 6, but limit it to the 4 Cummins, because the GM transmission case will crack where the servo cylinder is located from the torque generated by the 6. You used to be able to get some cases from B&M Hydromotive that would solve the cracking problem, but I have not seen them in years.
