Crankshaft Position Sensor Removal
Got the starter out, bolt holding the sensor out, wires disconnected and the sensor itself spinning from 7-2 o'clock position.
Now what?
Does it have to line up to come out (ie 9 oclock poition vs. 12oclock position)?
TIA

Well now the elbow broke off and I have to decide how to get it out.
Should I just use some vicegrips and try to pull on the wires to pull it out, or try to pry it out with a screwdriver, or?
Any help?

I don't believe there's anything needs aligned. Should come out in any position.
I think a screwdriver would probably work fine, just don't want to scar up the inside of the hole so the o-ring doesn't seal.

The thing is probably stuck on it's o ring, a lot of times when they break on me like that I will take a small pick or pocket screwdriver and use it to carefully bend the plastic until I can grab it with a pair of needlenose...it can take some time but once you get it deformed enough for the o-ring to get loose it should just pull out of the hole. When I put the new one in I normally lube up the o-ring with some light grease and it should just pop in.
