I had a broken injector tube today. I replaced the line and took the truck to the car wash to get rid of the extra diesel under the hood and made the mistake of washing it. Long story short, I got water in my fuel pressure sender. My question is, can I just unscrew that sensor to clean it or swap it, or do I have to drain my rail pressure first? Thanks!
You're talking about the rail pressure sensor, the one that is on the top part of the rail, just behind the intake horn?

Yep. Make sure you have the proper torque specs (I have them at home, LMK if you need them) and are extremly careful to be very clean. A little sand can do a lot of damage if it gets into the fuel system.

Yeah it will be fine as long as the truck isnt running. The system depressurizes itself. Word to the wise though they tend to leak after u remove them and reinstall the old one so keep an eye on it.
After washing it, started the truck and it had the "old" diesel knock. Threw codes P0192,P0236,P0237. Got home, took out the plug to the rail pressure sensor and found water in it. Sprayed it out with some either, then some air. Plugged it back in and I I am still getting no fuel pressure readings on my quadzilla dash pod. Anything else it could be?
