Commander Help- Rail pressure connection

Commander Help- Rail pressure connection
I'm trying to install the rail pressure connection, it says to T tap the middle wire, however my engine sputters with it conndected to the middle? Can anyone help??? Quad?????
Also, I have the power wire ran to the fuse tap, and it will not turn on on at all
