clutch pedal probs
If I remember correctly, mine had a C-clip and a pressure type washer which held the rod to the pedal ssembly. It was the hardest thing I had to overcome when I replaced my master/slave assy when it went out. It was a royal pain in the patootie to dis-assemble and reassemble. I will go out in a bit and look at it again, but then remember mine is an 02 model so things may have changed....
Good luck with it..

Up under the dash you will find the swing arm assembly for the clutch. Remove the clip from the end of the retaining pin for the push rod where it joins the clutch pedal arm. Then pull the tapered washer, most also have a flat washer, then slide the push rod end off the pin. You should have a clip, a cupped washer, a flat washer, the rod end, and then a bushing that goes over the pin on the clutch lever and on which the push rod end rides.
Be sure to inspect that bushing that goes over the clutch arm pin and on which the push rod rides. If it is worn with an egg shaped hole, replace it or you will never get your clutch to disengage properly.
