and yea there is plenty of fluid in the resevior, also i forgot to mention right when all this happened i smelled a stron oeder of brake fluid i am guessing it is from the master cylinder which is leaking now..i wish i had more time to work on my truck but between work, school and crappy weather i havent been able to get out there and work on it.

This sounds syptomatic of a clutch of a clutch that is not fully disengaging. If it were my truck I would replace/overhaul the master cylinder and the slave cylinder (don't forget to purge the line of old fluid) and take it from there. Almost willing to bet that will solve your problem. Will be very surprised if it is necessary to remove the tranni.
Keep us posted as to the fix.

Sounds like a new clutch plate is due. Maybe the pressure plate also. While it is apart, don't forget to install a new throwout bearing , even if yours looks and feels OK.

yea i will def. do that, i just bought a clutch kit from luks, unless there is a big clutch in the truck which the 1st owner claims, but from the looks of things this transmission has never been out of the truck, ill keep you posted, my dad is going to give me a hand taking the trans out tonight, thats all that left.

well got her all apart and came to find a broken input shaft. Good news is my clutch is fine(mcloud street twin). Anyway, I am going to put a stock clutch back in the truck since i am selling, anyone know how much i could get for the clutch, plenty of life left, only like 20k on it mayb a lil less. my friend sold the same one for 650 this past summer, so i am wondering what i can get out of it. Ill put some pics up of the shaft and everythign for you all to look at.

Interesting. I am however puzzled how the truck would move at all with a broken input shaft. Is it a clean break or is it broken on a diagonal?
