the cam sensor on an 01, is up underneath the injection pump, toward the blcok, and sits in the rear of the gear housing. It requires a 10mm socket to remove, along with a lot of patience.
If you are changing an injector pump, that is the best time to do one, as everything is out of the way.

Isn't #10 the Crank Sensor?
I can never remember which one got deleted in the later 24valve trucks.
I know 98.5-2000 (or was it 1999) had both the cam and crank sensors, but after that there is only one that performs both functions.

They went to "cam" only on the 01 02.
