Crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor

I did a search for part number but there seemed to be some conflicting information regarding these two sensors.

Do the 98.5-2000 have both the cam sensor and the crankshaft sensor?

I think on the 01 they did away with the crank sensor?

Thanks crobtex! I picked up both sensors at Cummins for the price of just one sensor at the dealership.

The part numbers from Cummins:

* Engine speed sensor (crankshaft sensor) 4921601

* Cam position sensor 4921597

Just in case anyone runs a search on this topic in the future.

The only one Cummins charges more for is the IAT. About $10 more for some reason.

If I remember correctly, the cam sensor is a bugger to get to.

I've heard the same thing. It can be any worse than the vacuum pump..
