From: Lubbock TX.
If the bolts been changed from the 5mm hex it should be something like a 10mm head I think.....5mm is standard but sometimes they get changed when either the head gets rounded out or the bolt gets lost.

all right.
got it out and back in.
I am not sure what is harder

so it is a 8mm
took a short 1/4 drive 8mm socket
a 1 inch wobble extension into a 10 wobble extension
plan on dropping bolt when it comes out.
plan on learning how to bend your fingers back wards as well as you can forwards.
you go at it from behind the power steering and the vp pump.
working a long side of the block.
under the intake
where you can't even start to have your hands and see at the same time.

use a little piece of the blue shop paper towels to hold the bolt in the socket while you find the hole, twist the sensor to line the bolt up into its hole.

next question when I turn on the key should I hear the lift pump?
I also tried bumping the starter. still didn't hear anything.
should it humm or something?

Sorry to hear that didn't fix your problem for you. At least you have eliminated one possibility...
Have you checked the wiring harness in the steering column yet?

Looks like once you got the correct wrenches you had it changed out in less then one hour. You did good!

Keep posting so we can see the solution.

Disconnect your battery to clear the code, and see if it comes back.

yeah I took the outer clam shell off, didn't see anything loose pulled or abrased.

so still trying to figure out if I need to call a tow truck or try to drive it 10 miles to the shop.

just had a thought.
nope exhaust is flowing.
I am out of easy idea's

well when I do get it running I am looking at this list of things.
jump in for prices or other idea's to my up grades.

fass 100 or should I go to 150?? 600.00
mbrp 4 inch exhaust the s1600al for 350.00
edge juice with attitude, mostly because it comes with the guage package 710.00

if my turbo is part of this problem.
the BD super b turbo for 1250.00

I think that would be about it.
don't think setting 5 would be of much use with stock turbo and transmission.

the goerend trans looks to be right at 3700.00
not sure if I would go the extra for the billit shaft. waiting to hear from him via email.
I had planed on doing most of this before this problem.
think that I will find out what is going on with it now and take it from there.
I would a lot rather order and put the parts on my self vs paying the shop to do it!

I don't know how the route is, but I would attempt the drive myself.
A FASS 100 or Airdog 100 should be plenty sufficient. You can get the airdog right on this online store for a mere $499
You don't really need the exhaust until your current one needs replaced.
Edge Juice with attitude is not a bad choice, but I think you should be able to do better price wise. Do make sure which ever route you go, you have at least an EGT gauge and a fuel pressure gauge. I doubt there's anything wrong with your turbo, but more air is always nicer, but you can do better price wise as well.
Lastly, you can't go wrong with a Goerend transmission. You won't need billet shafts unless you intend to sled pull or do boosted launches. Other than that you should be set ( I have his tranny in my '02 auto).
Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

well had one installed today 730.00 installed.

sorry I missed you on that one.

lift pump was out, fuel pressure at 7 pounds at idle.
fass installed for 950.00 a bit high if you ask me, but I can't do it right now, to fricking cold out.

so do you think I paid to much?
more testing on the 10th.
turbo, vp stuff like that.
4 inch mbrp 550.00 installed, think that I will have them do that also.
sucks to have to pay some one else to do it. but also nice to not freeze important parts off.

WOW!!
feeeeeee yuck...
what a difference.

fass 100
juice with attitude
4 inch turbo back.

must have only been half power before due to low fuel pressure.
even the stock setting it has a lot more power.
