Hopefully ,the reset will work. However, mine only went about a week before I needed to replace the APPS. That was after multiple reset procedures, but the first reset lasted me about a week and got me home.

So looking at those codes it looks like it is the APPS. Try the reset and see if things get better. If so, then you know that is what your problem is. I would start looking for a new one and maybe contact the member mentioned above. Best of luck let us know if resetting it worked for you.

Timbo01 does have to ship his to you, but it is worth the wait if you can get home. Do a search under his name. Very nice man.

i don't know where you got your information, but it's wrong
Throttle position sensor is P0121
P1693 is: a companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM.....

My info says P0121 throttle position sensor/switch a curcuit range/performance problem 1693 as I stated.....from code reader from Harbor Freight. Sorry, my bad typing on the 0221.

Thanks all for your input. I reset it with the link from Diesel Burner's posting. Engine light is now off. Well...if this does happen again, I'm prepared.

Thanks!

Just be warned that Timbo01's unit takes a couple of days to get to you ( if it's the APPS) much less $ than the $500.00 from Dodge......Cummins here said they didn't carry it. Might be worth the cost to have a spare if you are on the road a lot. I was told it is a much superior unit.
