blowby

found sooty residue on turbine housing, is there a gasket that seals this or is it metal to metal. like to stop it.

There is a gasket between the manifold and the housing. It's about $3 from Dodge.

is the silencer ring located here as well, if i'm in there i might as well pull it

The silencer ring is just inside the compressor inlet. Remove the intake hose and you'll be able to get at it.
