OK...here is the deal..my Dad borrowed my truck to pick up a car today..he was cruising down the road..cruise control on and at 60 mph...he said the truck was running great..then outa no where the truck started to buck and POUR(he says) black smoke out of the exh. the truck than pulled the acc. pedal to the floor on its own...he said it was trying to go but it was slowing down and felt like it has zero power..then it shut down...wont start up now but for a sec or 2...any help would be awesome..thanks guys...

Does the turbo still spool? or spin at all? I would also pull off any tuners you have installed. Also do you have an after market alarm? m My truck will run like that if it is started and the alarm messes up on a rare occasion. Hope that helps.

 

I am at work all day but I will check the trubo when I get home...my dad said it will still start for a sec or 2 but thats it..and still pours the coal for that cpl seconds..No alarms..but does have Adrenaline system on it..will try your advice..ty very much..MURF

I got it..did as the first poster advised..it was my brand new(6 months or so ols) adrenaline system...gotta get with Quad now.
