Unhappy anti lock and brake light on now!

Hello all, I had a near miss today with a woman on her cell phone not paying attention and pulled right out in front of me! Well, I had to lock up the brakes to avoid doing some serious damage to her and her toyota corolla and now the "antilock" light and the "brake" light are both staying on.. Did my locking up the brakes damage something in the braking system? My truck is a 93 with RWAL only, thank god it worked though! If somebody knows how to reset the lights maybe that is all it needs! It drives just fine with the lights on, brakes just fine but it is bothering me to see them on HELP!

Go into the 1st gen forum and take a look in the sticky thread at the top of the page. There's info in there on pulling the codes from the RWAL computer, that will give you a better idea of why the lights are on.

Id check to make sure your lines are air-free and the fluid is at the right level. Then maybe check the vacuum lines up to the booster. I know on my 95 Im supposed to see 8 - 25 inches of vacuum at the pump. (dont know if the 1st gen are vacuum assist or not).
I had an air leak at the booster cyl that caused this.. as well as the sender on the diff going bad.

I am new to the board but it sounds like a rear axle ABS sensor. If your rig is a 4x4 you can verify this by seeing if your speedo works below 20mph. Good luck.

Bad advice, doesn't work that way on a 1st gen truck.
