brake and anti-lock light on

brake and anti-lock light on

so im cruising down the road at 55 and my light comes on. NEW rear brakes (everything possible) new front pads. good fluid. brakes arent any worse then normal haha. im confused. one of my vacuum pumps has been out so maybe i have hit low vacuum? would the light come on for that?

My light was coming on randomly and it turned out to be the small chassis ground from the radiator support to the negative post on the battery.

thanks ill check that out. im thinking its my vacuum pump. i really want to do hydro boost but im in school right now and money is tight.

check to make sure your vacuum sensor on your drives side inner fender isnt bad or has a broken or leaking line.

Talking lights

Check the rear sensor on the rear diff, and rear wheel sensors, if you have 4 wheel abs check the front wheel sensors, also check thr abs switch under the driver side battery. Does your cruise control work? Grumpy John 4X4

do the breaks work? If so the fix is easy... the plug is right behind teh light.

That litle panel is a good place for extra gauges...

heck mine did that after all new every thing even the lines from the spliter and all i did was disconect the abs in the glove box and took the abs sulinoid out and went from the hard line to the rubber line and it stops a lot better after i did that
