ive been having some problems with my 96 2500 automatic transmission as of late. it keeps blowing the number 9 10 amp engine fuse, when the fuse is blown it starts but dies i can replace the fuse and sometimes it will go 20 miles and sometimes a block its very unpredictable. the other day it was parked in the drivway and when the key was turned to on position you could watch it burn the fuse out so we pushed across the yard and now it doesnt blow the fuses but it seems the battery is dead now...could this problem of blowing the fuses have something to do with the transmission? weve looked at the obvious wires nothing looks bare. is there a particular wire we should look at thanks
