annoying grinding somewhere in front axle..help

mr T - with the links i gave you and if you are some what mechanicly inclined you should be able to do it your self , if you have never had one apart,and if truck hasn't been apart recently i would think you should be able to do it in 1/2 a day.you should not have to change the seal if it is not leaking, on the drivers side the seal is next to the diff..to change the seal the diff would have to come out.

thanx POR i am in the process of doing everything...had to get the 1 11/16's driver ...im just trying to narrow things down as much as possible...plus askign alot of questions helps me learn much more ..so... where's the center support bearing that was mentioned?

I think the center support bearing referred to is on the rear drive shaft...about center of the shaft.
