All gauges on the inst panel are dead

1998 Dodge 3500 Ram 5.9 diesel. All the inst. gauges on the inst panel are dead- they do not indicated anything. RPM, fuel qty, oil press, oil temp, battery.speedometer, odometer. I checked all fuses under hood and in the cab, they are ok. Any ideas on where to start?

sounds like the bus, or the cluster. I lost my cluster last week, took it to the dealer found the bus locked up.

Some one suggested I take out the inst cluster and reset the 2 connectors. I did that along with disconnecting the batt cables and that fixed the problem. Thanks for the response.

If the fuses looked good, I did nothing but take them out , look at them and put them back in. If the fuse wire looked the least bit out of the ordinary, I used a continuity tester on the fuse.
Thanks for the reply, Jerry
