Don't know for sure. On most cars if you turn the key in the door or in the ignition the alarm stops.

I, too, don't have a remote. On mine, there is a small red button switch, below the steering wheel, behind the kick panel ... I think they call it a valet switch. Maybe worth checking out! Hope this helps.

If it's a factory alarm I don't know what to do.

If it's an aftermarket alarm there is usually an inline fuse (or fuses) somewhere either near the alarm brain or near the power source (battery). If you can find that fuse (or fuses) and pull it (them) then your truck should start and operate normally.

Here is what you do if you have the key, and you know the location of the dash switch. If the remote dies, then unlock the door and open it, the alarm will go off like it should. Then turn the key to ON and push the dash switch. The alarm should stop. Its a fail safe in case the remote dies, but it only works if you have the key.

I have also had good luck with complete disconnection of the alarm brain. This has worked on 2 different brand alarms in 2 different vehicles. Find the brain, and disconnect the main connection. The vehicle will run like there is no alarm installed.
