abs and brake light/speedometer
abs and brake light/speedometer
Hi all,
I just got back from a trip last nite, truck ran perfect the entire time. Get in it this morning and the abs/brake lights stay on after starting. Shut it off and restart same thing. Slame on the brakes and sure enough it skids.
Comeing home from work, abs/brake lights are still on. I notice the speedometer isn't working, setting on 0 till i get over 25 mph or so then it goes to working.(Doesn't seem to read the correct speed though), Truck speed drops below 20 or so and speedo goes to 0.
Looked for the computer readout code procedure but the link i found didn't work. Any ideas would be a help.
Thanks.

Re:abs and brake light/speedometer
Yep agree with Gary, its the speed sensor in the rear axle. Costs less than $50.00 from Dodge and will take less than a half hour for the mechanically challenged.
