ABS light, Brake light, No speedometer, No Odometer, No Cruse

So a couple of weeks ago while driving home in a dang mini blizzard here in Utah, my abs light came on as well as the brake light and my speedo stopped working, through some other investigating I’ve learned that the Odometer has stopped counting and my curse control will not turn on. On my over head it will not tell me fuel millage, Now I know that all of these readings go off of speed sensors so I replaced my Rear speed sensor on the Diff cause I got a P0500 code that wont clear and after some reading on other post (with same problems) the VSS was the problem, well replacing it did nothing for me so now I am tiring to find time to trace wires for breaks/chafing. Other things I’ve already done checked both abs sensors up front disconnected and cleaned connections checked fuses (even put the 30a fuse in the spare spot where everyone said to that fixed there’s Didn’t fix mine either. So If anyone has any other ideas or can explain to me how to check the entire abs system (multimeter) I would greatly appreciate it

So you replaced the sensor on the diff and also replaced the VSS on the tail shaft of the trans?

You might check fuse # 34 or 35 and see if its blown.

Looks like that is also the vehicle speed sensor on the diff... I got a little confused as I have never messed with one on our trucks and they are usually on the tail shaft.

Let me see what I can dig up.

Checked and replaced the 35 ABS fuse no change, Guess Im going to have to start tracing wires to see if I got any breaks, had the batteries checked today both checked good and cleaned the terminals up, no change so far just trying to eliminate the small stuff first.

Still have not got anywhere with the truck you guys wonder if its being caused by my Triple dodge power pup??? I haven't ever had any issues with it but I know that there have been issues other people have had with abs when using bully dog/edge programs, I tried a long time ago to removed it completely from the truck but had issues with it not completing the return to stock mode called bully dog and the teck said I needed to download the newest software and then try to removed it again but I never got around to it and I havent used it in about a year.

May also be a wheel speed sensor for the ABS. If one of those goes TU, it will throw an ABS code and with the TIPM, who knows what else will be affected!

So I got an update in info today while driving around town I was going about 50 mph (at least I think speedo still not working) I shifted the tranny into neutral to put on the brakes for a light and I noticed the truck was pulling to the left as soon as brakes where applied. So I thought I read on one of the forms that if one of your abs sensors goes bad that the truck will pull to the other side because of the faulty sensor. Help me out here guys anybody got an idea if this is true or could it just be leading me towards what else might be the cause of this hole thing. Thanks

I doubt if it is an ABS sensor. When the ABS light is on, you don't have ABS. Just regular good old fashioned power disk brakes. Pulling to one side is usually an indication of:
a. Contaminated pads on opposite wheel causing slippage
b. Sticking caliper on the pulling side
c. Glazed/overheated rotor
d. Dimensional difference in thickness of rotors causing uneven braking, like brake fade
e. Different pads.

Good luck
