Before you get all paranoid, check to make sure the fuel lever is pulling up, find user Infidel ( he is everywhere ) go to his gallery and look at the side view of a 12valve, the fuel shutoff solenoid is easy to see. Try and manually pull up the fuel shutoff lever and see if it moves fairly easily. If you are careful, feel for it to pull up when someone else cranks the engine. If it does not snap up into position, there is your fairly common problem, could be as simple as crud built up.

That's a start, let us know if that doesn't solve it and we will talk you thru further diagnosis.

 

 

yall guys would belive the problem i bought this truck from a co worker last week he said it was a 800 dollor fix at the dealership so he desided too sell it too me for 1500 bucks i drug it home and asked a few mwch wut they thought and i looked it over and the only thing i foung wroung with the truck is that it was plum out of diesel ..lol i put diesel in it and she runs great thanks for the help.. now its my new project lets see if i can get the old thing down in the low 13 under 3 grand ...let me know wut yall think
