95 5speed shut of while driving

My boss on my gutter crew has a 95 12valve 5spd dually which is completely stock except for the clutch pump and the hydraulic industrial dump bed. He wanted me to get on here and see if he could find out some info for him.

The problem he has is that while driving, the truck just shuts off on him. I hope that's enough info to go on because I dont know any other symptoms the truck is having. The times I've driven it it aint done it, but has anyone ever heard this on a 95 5spd?? Thanks!!

is it ever tough to start? I would look for a leak in the fuel line from the ip to the fp and back to the tank.

could the shut off solenoid be tweaking out?

Ther have been a few threads about similar problems, teh first thing to check is teh fuel shut off solinoid on teh IP, make sure teh wires have a good connection. Even if they are in place tehy can work loose and casue teh truck to die. Here is a thread that talked about it:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ad.php?t=98724
the next thing to look at would be the fuel filter, then the IP...
