92 Died, Just Shut Down! Help!

I was running down the road about 50mph, everything's fine, and started to slow down. I hit the throttle but no response so thought my linkage came off again. But then I realized engine had shut down and had NO power. I coasted off into an empty lot and tried to start but absolutely NO power from the ignition switch. Checked all battery cables, alt. cables, everything's fine. Battery's hot, headlights & flashers work, not sure what else is not working. Turn signals not working. Absolutely NO power on dash except dash lights. No radio, no gauges, nothing from ignition switch. Can't see anything burned, broken, disconnected, didn't smell anything odd - nothing. Its just like I turned the key off and shut her down and won't restart. Have no idea except maybe ECM? Need some advice quick - I'm stranded! Thanks!

Check the fuseable links coming from the battery between it and the brake booster on top of the fenderwell . Sounds to me like it could be one of them is burnt.
Look where the cable turns into about 7 smaller wires those are the fuse sections.

Got her fixed thanks to all the great folks on DTR! It was the orange fusible link. Was stretchy because the wire had seperated & had a tiny hole burned in the insulation. Would have never seen it without cutting the factory tie-wraps that were still in place. The wiring on this truck is near perfect! I spliced in a section of 20ga. wire & she fired right up! I'll get it fixed right tomorrow but wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone for all your help!
