91 No Start

I Have A 1991 Dodge Diesel That Will Not Start , It Has Fuel To The Injection Pump And 12volts At Both Connectors At Pump. Thank You For Any Help , THERE IS NO FUEL TO THE INJECTORS

Try gutting the fuel shutoff solenoid. That's the thing that looks like a big nut on top of the pump. Remove it, take out the plunger and spring, and put the "nut" back in. If the truck starts, go to your local VW/Audi dealer and tell them you need a shut off solenoid for an '85 Golf diesel.

It's easier to get the solenoid out if you hack off the part of the rear pump support bracket that's in the way. The part you would remove is not structural, so hack away.

if your solenoid is the same as mine, you could try pushing the rod up to see if it will stick (key has to be "ON"), and then if it does stick try starting it and you will know if that's your problem.

It's not. Totally different setup.
