Question 48re Oil Leak

Got under truck to change engine oil. Saw that auto trans oil pan was wet with red looking oil. Drops are hanging on some of the bolts. The truck has 11,000 miles. I checked trans oil and its at the min mark. I was going to get trans fluid from auto parts store, add some then check when I get to work tomorrow, then stop at dealer on my way home. Trouble is it seems the only oil (ATF+4)
can only be bought from dealer which is not open on Sunday. Does anyone know if there is a substitute brand that I can safely add to the factory Mopar ATF+4.

I would think that just about any reputable auto parts store will have atf+4. I know that all the NAPA stores in this area carry it.

Unless things have changed recently ATF+4 is only available at the dealer for exorbitant prices.
Since you are under warranty and will most likely be taking it in for the leak I'd only use the Chrysler product even though there are other alternatives.

Synlube, RedLine, and Amsoil have ATF+4 synthetic products. But, I would run at the minimum line and let the dealer handle the problem under warranty.
