24V won't start -fuel problem HELP!
Sticker shock is right $651+tx & I wasn't quite that prepared!
I think I''l drop the tank with a jack and check for leaks there first. I have around 100L of fuel in my slip tank now and a full truck tank so neither method of getting at the tank will be too easy right now.

The part that goes bad in the fuel pickup is a simple piece of plastic pipe that gets cracked or rubbed through. By replacing it with some hose you can save some $$$- will work nicely if you take your time and do it right.
Another possible culprit for your situation can also be the quick-connect of the fuel line that goes onto the tank module- if that one's bad you have the same symptoms, I replaced mine with rubber hose and some hose clamps. I'd say try these first because the price for 5' of 3/8" id diesel certified rubber hose could save you the price that gave you the sticker shock

Thanks AlpineRam! You just answered my next question about what size hose I would need as well.
I am going to give this a shot tomorrow as long as I can find somewhere that is open on a Sunday for the hose.
