Angry 99 24v died & won't start

I have a 1999 24v. I resently installed a Power Edge Comp module on my truck. After the install I started the truck everything was good on the module. I set it on the #5 setting and took the truck on a test drive. I went up the on ramp and goosed it a couple times. After the second time a goosed it, it died. It will not start now. I checked all fuses, they were ok. Fuel relay ok too. I unplugged the module and put back to stock. Still won't start. I cracked an injector, no fuel. Lift pump sounds like its working ok. Is there more relays other then on the power dist. center? HELP!!!!!!

No fuel, no worky. You most likely have a bad lift pump or vp44. Pull the codes and see what you have. If both of the pumps check out then you can look at fuel lines and tank issues. Take a fuel pressure reading at the schreader valve and see what you have.

No codes. Why would this all of a sudden happen after I installed the edge comp?

98 and 99 VP44's weren't very good.
Many died right after installing the comp and selecting level 5.

Nope.

You decided to put it on, you and only you get to deal with the consequences.

You were just lucky enough to have one of the VP44's that didn't like the comp.

Did you check the codes with a code reader?

The key on/off method doesn't work on 99's.

No, not yet. I plan to tow it to the shop tomorrow. Don't have a code reader other than a superchip programer. Will that work?

It might be able to see them.

I've heard of the superchips not seeing all the codes, much like the key on/off not seeing them all in a 2000+.
Also, the superchips might see the right code, but it's transation is lacking.

If you did tap the pump wire take a look at the tap again. I think it's possible that the scotchlock actually cut the pump wire off partially and the vibrations did the rest.
Edge won't pay for your damages, read the instructions manual.

Look to see if it set the P0216 code.
Commonly refered to as "The Death Code"
