I have done searches and I have read a ton of information. Mine is a 2004 HO 6-speed manual with 185,000+ and on this wednesday I started a drive on the freeway for a good 20 miles and when I exited the freeway and came to a stop sign, the idle started to bounce up and down and then seemed to settle a bit and there seemed to be more vibration than usual. I pulled over and drained the fuel bowl and started it back up and drove another 10 miles or so and coming to a stop sign the idle started to bounce/fluctuate. I drained a bit more out of the bowl, started it up and drove about 20 more miles to my next destination and again the idle fluctuated and sorta settled down. I shut off and when I came back it cranked but this time starting nor any partial catching like it was going too.
Towed it back and knew that I had 185,000+ miles on an original fuel bowl mounted lift pump. Ordered and installed new lift pump and now it acts like it wants to start but just does not like possible air in the system.
There are no codes. Raining, cold and miserable here(for Kalifornia anyway). Just kinda bizzare that it is running fine one day and the next it croaks with no signs of life.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Reach down and feel the wire from the A/C compressor all the way back up past the engine. Look for frayed insulation. If that grounds out it kills the signal from the ECM to the fuel management controller. It is also a very common problem.
