First off truck in for transmission work. Had truck looked at
awhile back by 1 dealer they just kinda brushed me off because I didn't buy my truck from them.
Problem (1) Trans. wouldn't work right in the morning I suspected Torq. Converter Drain Back Valve. 1st dealer said they fixed it.Next morning after sitting all night it did the same thing.I didn't take it back.
(2) It threw some codes about 2 weeks ago for fuel injector circuit, truck ran funny, kinda like motor surge up and down just couldn't get to dealer when that happened. Finally took truck in for Transmission and the codes. 2nd dealer they seemed to agree what I said about Trans. it didn't operate right for them either. there Trans.tech said it was slipping. I don't think it slips it just won't go into gear in the morning unless you put it in Neutral then back in drive. They also said that the codes were no longer there when they put on there machine but I showed them when I took it in. Does Dodge or Dealerships give loaner cars for when truck is in shop? This dealership says they don't. I need some wheels was hoping they would provide some wheels. Sorry for such along post had to vent alittle Yall are the best comrades I know to talk to. Any help is much appreciated. :'( :'(

 

Sorry for your troubles and hope your back up and running soon. I aint much on the tranny but they should fix it no matter where you bought it. Ask for the owner or call your district rep if they give you a hard time. If they have the 5 star rating and don't wish to lose it, they should come around to your way of thinking(customer is always right). The only time gave me a loaner was when my insurance company was footing the bill. I have gotten a day loaner for warranty work once but it was a neon or something similar. I think that was the dealer being nice cause I had just bought the vehicle brand new from him and was wearing a shirt with lemons on it.
