Gasoline and/or water can cause white smoke.

Get the codes from the odometer by turning the ignition switch on/off/on/off/on and leave it on (not running) and post them.

Welcome to the board.

Checked fuel pressure on the schreodor valve on the side of the injector pump and it would idle at about 7-8 psig and when i would accelerate it would drop to as low as 2.5 to 3 psig

Your injector pump is toast. If you're under warranty get to a dealer. If not, $$$$
Sorry.

It's the Injection Pump. My truck had the dead pedal issue and smoked pretty bad when I stepped on the go pedal and the smoke wasn't white more of a greyish color. Had pump replaced and now have beautiful black smoke and no dead pedal. Go to your dealer have them warranty the part. You will have to pay a deductible of at least $100 dollars but it's much bettern then paying for a $1200 part.
