1st gen fuel spud help!

Anyone know if the fuel filter spud on a first gen is reverse thread? What direction does the spud screw off? Mine seems to be froze. I need to replace my fuel filter heater, and have a limited amount of time to work on truck. I need it on the road tomorrow morning.

Rebal,
Thanks for the reply! I finally got the spud off. It was on soooo tight, that I thought it was reverse thread! The Phillips slot was stripped, so I used a vice grip to get it off. I will now need to pick up a new spud. I will see if Geno's has one? Guess I will have to use a different pickup, to help my buddy move tomorrow.
