12 valve dies all the time

12 valve dies all the time
have '97 12 valve cummins in work truck. no performance mods. 160k miles. keeps dying. sometimes when going down the road, sometimes just after startup. any ideas? just had injectors rebuilt a few months ago...

hello there,
1st thing i would replace is fuel filter and then check to make sure the idle is adjusted up good. if you still have problems then check fuel pressure these trucks are common about fuel line problems etc.

The next time it dies leave the key on, don't turn it off and then back on. Raise the hood and make sure the shutdown solenoid is still pulled up and hasn't lost voltage and shut your fuel off.
