07 misfiring

Well, my first post is an E-post....sorry.
I have an '07 Dodge w/ 5.9l Cummins. Love it. It only has 40k miles on it and ran great, until this morning. I was low on fuel and stopped at a station I'd used several times in the past. Put in $75 worth and drove less than a mile when the engine light came on and the truck started running real rough. It's misfiring, or at least that what it feels and sounds like. Did I get some bad fuel? Anything else I can check? I am new to the diesel crowd so I can use all the guidance I can get.

Thanks
Kenn

If you didn't pump fuel yourself open fuel cap and smell to make sure you in fact where given Diesel not gas. Then open fuel filter drain and catch with a container and see if its got water or some other nasties in it then change fuel filter. If its has a lot of water or dirt/rusty crud then you may have to empty tank and clean it out. Also go back to the station if its the case and they should cover the costs. hopefully.

Yes, I pumped it myself and I have verified that it is correct. Thanks for the info on the filter. I will check it out...as soon as I find it.
THANKS again.
