07' 5.9 block broken????????????

i have a 07' 5.9 dodge 3500 about a week ago i started having problems with my truck white smoking bad in the mornings and while driving.now the problem is still the same but the motor is slightly knocking and quivvers and it's acting like its starving for fuel... the dodge house said they cant warrenty it because it was contammanated fuel in the tank which was reg. green diesel. They said it was the block and the #1 cyclender wasent firing.
what is the problem and what do i do .
thanks

you might have a couple of bad injectors i would drain tank and put fresh fuel in it and change filters, when you change filters(fuel) put about 50/50
automatic trans fluid in it and crank it. see if that clears it up.the trans fluid will sometimes free up and lubricate the injection system.
and i dont understand why the dodge place told you that.
if that doesnt work then it is time for injectors, hopefully you havent hurt the pump yet.

NO TRANNY FLUID!!!!! EVER. You WILL destroy the pump and injectors. These arent 6.5 chevy diesels.
use a commercially made fuel treatment, such as stanadyne or power service.

much better. big trucks arent running 25k psi of injection pressure. the clearances in the pumps on our trucks are so bloody tight because of the pressures they need to acheive, the atf(which had too many cleaning additives) will remove the lubrication.

1.) Pull a fuel sample from the filter.
2.) Get some fuel for a sample from the place you last bought fuel.
3.) Call DC directly or your state AG and get the ball rolling.

Something is definatly WRONG here people, we have a 4 year period of common rail Cummins and now there are at least 3 on here with non-warranted engines due to "contamination"

I'm calling this fishy.....

i'd just clean the tank out and take it to a new dealership. should be warranty then.

i agree with that ^. If there gonna be stuborn about fullfilling a warrenty because a fuel station had bad fuel, find a way around it like draining the tank and puting good fuel in and go back to another dealer like he said ^.

that only works if the first dealer didnt enter the data into dc's system, they track repair claims by vin.

I'm just curious about how they came to the conclusion that the fuel was bad?
Regardless the FF will trap most if not all of the crap from reaching the IP. I am seeing a new trend of the rob u ships claiming this to get out of the warranty.
Like said above get your own sample of fuel and have it tested.

With the lower micron rating of the newer fuel filters,I am told the water does not get separated as well.Chryslers feeling is that they did not put the water in your truck.Hence your dime.
I have seen many contaminated trucks get repaired by insurance, but never under warranty.
