Exclamation 03 Ram 2500 5.9 No ECM Voltage...(HELP)...

>>>
Engine on truck shut off while driving the other day, got it restarted but engine shut off again just a few miles later and wouldn't restart. Used the Quadzilla Adrenaline to see if it might provide some clues, and noticed the following + some additional issues/symptoms beyond the limited info from the Quadzilla...

1) Quadzilla shows "0" ECM voltage vs the usual 24v.
2) Qaudzilla Air Intake & Coolant Temp both show -40 deg.
3) New lift pump (on filter housing) is not turning on.
4) AC relay in TIPM clicks non-stop (AC switch in cab is OFF).
5) "P" code test via ignition key procedure won't activate.
(6) Batteries are new, load tested & fully charged.
(7) If it matters (?) discovered a melted/severed terminal lug on Air Intake Relay & replaced relay.

Could use some advice on where to start troubleshooting, or if anyone by chance knows what's wrong (based on the symptoms) please let me know - thx!

kid at work thought he was going to turn his Cummings into a drag truck and ended up destroying the motor. He found out that the Quadzilla he bought on eBay only went up to the year 2000 in configuration settings. In other words his 2004 truck was incompatible with the unit that he had purchased. Found out that the map sensor could not provide the correct information to it and the thing went haywire. Then he discovered that there was too much juice and it overloaded his single ground mount. He unhooked everything and got a better ground connection. This fixed his stalling while driving issue. But he had done too much damage trying to force it without fixing it first. He burned up his computer and had to start over. He ended up junking it. LOL

anyways, make sure that the unit you have is fully compatible with that year truck. Unless you bought it from them directly, you should just run a reference to be sure. Secondly anytime anything melts from a relay it's because the relays failed or it's a ground issue. So that sounds like something is grounding out or not grounding properly. This is simply talking from what I saw him deal with. Wish I could be more helpful, good luck bro
