03 Ram 2500 5.9 No ECM Voltage...(HELP)...
>>>
Engine on truck shut off while driving the other day, got it restarted but engine shut off again just a few miles later and wouldn't restart. Used the Quadzilla Adrenaline to see if it might provide some clues, and noticed the following + some additional issues/symptoms beyond the limited info from the Quadzilla...
1) Quadzilla shows "0" ECM voltage vs the usual 24v.
2) Qaudzilla Air Intake & Coolant Temp both show -40 deg.
3) New lift pump (on filter housing) is not turning on.
4) AC relay in TIPM clicks non-stop (AC switch in cab is OFF).
5) "P" code test via ignition key procedure won't activate.
(6) Batteries are new, load tested & fully charged.
(7) If it matters (?) discovered a melted/severed terminal lug on Air Intake Relay & replaced relay.
Could use some advice on where to start troubleshooting, or if anyone by chance knows what's wrong (based on the symptoms) please let me know - thx!

anyways, make sure that the unit you have is fully compatible with that year truck. Unless you bought it from them directly, you should just run a reference to be sure. Secondly anytime anything melts from a relay it's because the relays failed or it's a ground issue. So that sounds like something is grounding out or not grounding properly. This is simply talking from what I saw him deal with. Wish I could be more helpful, good luck bro
