young diesel owner?

so i just bought my first diesel at the tender age of 22 and i feel like im the only guy my age that has one. chicks dont dig em, and most guys my age dont think far ahead enough to realize the advantages of it. never have i met anyone under 30 who owns a diesel. maybe i've just been sensitized, but is it me or do the average younger folk just not go for the diesel? it just seemed more logical to me: the power/capacity i crave, the mileage i NEED!

how old were you when you purchased your first diesel?

My first vehicle was a 69 dodge with a 4 BT in it. At 21 I strayed with a cherokee. Then I returned with my 99 at 23. I never completely denied them becuase I drove my dads large specon occasionally.

Yeah, where do you live?

In Texas they are popular... Here a lot of prissy girls hate my truck, cause it is loud, but my wife dosen't care... I think she likes turbo whine.

It's safe to say here too, chicks don't dig diesel. Not even a little bit.

Must be a lone star thing.

I'm 21 now, and i bought me new 2003 2500 when i was 18. traded it in for my 2005 this last august at age 21. Everybody thought i was crazy for buying such an expensive truck at young age but hey, right now i dont have any house payments or anything like that, so might as well have a nice truck!
as for the girls thing, it has its times here in ohio...

17 when I bought my first diesel. The chicks thing....Like anything else, depends on the girl. My wife loves my truck. Lots' of girls turn their nose up at smelly ol' diesels though.

Out of the 5 housemates there were 3 Diesels. a 2002 Dodge 2500, 2004.5 Dodge 2500 and a 90 jetta. The ages went from 23 to 28. I my self am 25 and right after graduation from RIT I went out and got my truck. As for the girls if she don't like the truck she aint worth the time. When you stop and pull a young lady out of a ditch she will love your truck. They are also a hit at the Country bars here in upstate NY.

around me the bigger the truck the hotter the chick, lifted diesels pull more chicks than a new convertable porsche. I'm 29, my first diesel, but 4th turbo, all the younger guys I know are very invious of my truck so they could get some hot girls. My wife likes my truck but makes comments how guys want loud trucks yada, yada, yada... My 6 and 3 year old girls, love my truck but I may need to break them of that before dating age so they don't end up with a guy like me...
