My snake has followed me to work a couple times... except when my snake follows me, it's only half of him, the other half stays in the garage.

Mine gets plugged in inside the garage and then runs outside underneath the garage door. If I forget, it will get dragged out into the street and eventually snap. I've repaired that extension cord a couple times. One time I had about 10 feet of it wrapped around the front axle and didn't realize it until I got to work.

Whenever I plug my truck in wich isn't very often, I hang the cord over my drivers side mirror that why I can't forget to unplug. Simple and cheap fix for the forgetful.

Could have been a 100' one with the spool and a GFCI outlet ripped out of the wall on the end

I'd probably drive off and break the mirror off. Now THAT would really upset me.

I tied mine securely to the garage , only about 8' of a 50' cord are outside , so i think it will unplug itself as I drive away...

Is this normal operating procedure, kind of like a break-out connector on airplanes?..

I had one of the orange ones rip part of my grill off. Now I keep it locked up in the garage. I don't think they like the cold.

I have found that a 10 gauge yellow snake is easier to see than a 16 gauge yellow snake..... and i still hang said 10 gauge yellow snake over the driver side mirror so i never forget to unplug it......

I park in the garage. What's this "plug your truck in" thing you all speak of? Is that to tie it up so it doesn't get away, you know just like the Amish and der buggy?
