A YELLOW snake chased me to work!
Yup, I did it....the snakes in these parts are yellow instead of orange.... I didn't realize until I backed into my parking spot at work that I forgot to unplug the truck this morning! Sheesh, it has been at least 4 years since I have done that! Anyway, the yellow 15' snake followed me for the entire 30 mile trip to work AND it stayed intact and ready to be used again! Unfortunately, it now knows where I work so hopefully it won't try to follow me again!

This will cure the snake problem. Works well no matter what color snake you normally deal with.

Good to hear that everything is okay and the snake wasn't harmed. Probably good that its so cold up here, the snake just slid across the ground and never even got a chance to create any friction.
I've always wanted to invent a "docking" device where you pull into a spot and two leads touch some gizmo to energize the block heater. I really think it would work.
Beats having the snake chase you to work.
Would need to make it grand kid proof though.

Although I think that the shock of driving against the leads would always trip breakers, so it'd probably be best just to hardwire it for 220.
Keep us up to date on it! Post pictures!

I had a 20 foot one laying straight out in my driveway the other day, looked like it tried to strike at the front of my truck when i backed out, but he missed, and just layed there, there orange way up here,
my green snake has never followed me to work yet, but it would have a hard time, as the tail end if shackled to the garage wall to prevent others from kidnapping my pet snake. not a very good guard animal, plays dead all the time, and only bites when the ground is wet and you are barefoot [yeah, i go outside to plug in barefoot with snow on the ground]
