Put a 4bt in a halfton pickup? What where they originally in?

 

if i could fine one for a decent price i'd put one in my 92 gmc,

 

Friend of mine wants to put one in a 1/2 ton forward control jeep. It would be an interesting conversion.

 

Would a 6bt fit?

 

The 1/2 and 3/4 bodys are the same, so probably yes. But why? Everything would be overloaded including front suspension, drivelines, axles, etc. All the time and expense to end up with something worse than you could simply go buy.
