Ya, quit trying to pinch pennies. I am a real cheapskate myself, but if you can afford one of these trucks, you can certainly afford to buy a cummins or Mopar oil filter. Why take the chance? BTW stay away from Fram. I have seen a few engine failures come through our shop because of Fram filters coming apart and blocking the flow of oil.
