so that means UPS isnt exactly brand loyal...they are running diesels from IH/Navistar, Cummins, Continental, and M-B? Did I miss any? All those different powertrains means a lot of different parts to be stocked in their maintenance facilities.

The last big company I worked for ran all GM stuff. Which then made parts, maintenance and warranty issues a heckuva lot easier.

To my knowledge, the VT365 version of the 6.0L dosen't have all the issues of the Ford engine, as it's rated at more like 230/500 ft-lbs instead of 325/620. Isn't like a UPS truck needs that much power overall. Heck many bread vans have the 4bt CTD in them - but that could be quite interesting...

I am looking for one of those old bread vans. I may have found my "in" though with the new job. We have a contract to work on a uniform company's trucks and I know some of them have the 4bt in there. A couple of the newer ones even have 5.9's in there. Hopefully I can get a chance at them once they start going to the salvage yards.

Were looking for an old Bread Van as well but we want to pull the 4bt and put it in our 89 Conversion Van.
