What color is diesel?

OK The Kroger I get diesel at says LSD on the pump and the fuel is green. I recently filled up at a new Chevron with ULSD on the pump and the fuel was clear. Are the stickers correct or could the green fuel be ULSD?

pure diesel is clear. depending on the additive package put in at the main pumps (varies by brand) you may get a different color. I have seen clear to the yellow side almost like mountain dew, and clear to green and bluish colors, but the one that will cost you is if you run off road diesel. its a redish color and has a dye marker in it so that the can tell if you paid your road tax on the fuel.
Over here in gemany i usualy see a bluish green tint to the fuel.

I am pretty sure all the ULSD is bright yellow/green, think Mountain Dew, so if a pump said LSD and looked like this, it is probably because they recently switched to ULSD, so it may be a mix of LSD/ULSD and until a certain number of gallons of ULSD is ran through their system, they can't claim ULSD??

I believe they have to go through several tanks of ULSD before the pump sticker can be changed.
