Last time I looked ( just for the heck of it) A rebuilt 6BT longblock was around $7k. A new factory 6BT was about $12k-$13k.

How much for a NON rebuilt engine? I can do the rebuild myself.

Okay, so my math is a little off. Most of the initial confusion is because the Canadian user(s) forgot to covert the $ when they posted. Makes it tough when you read (example) "Cost's $6,000", but wait, that really means $3,500 give or take.

I guess if I had to have a complete overhaul, I would be driving the Civic full time from then on out.
