are you sure its a powerstroke?
i didn't think powerstrokes came in till '95-'96
if its a turbo'd truck i'm sure its aftermarket turbo kit.
the engines go for what someone will pay, start high and get what you can get. our old 7.3 was wore out at 300k.

Powerstroke came along in 94 I believe, they made a factory 7.3 IDI turbo engine in 93, not sure if it was cab and chassis only or if you could also get it in a pickup.

Think about this, if you are looking at a 4X4, I think it was mid year 92 that the D60s up front went to Balljoints Vs. Kingpins.

From what I have read on a powerstroke forum I lurk around on, the first year that came with a turbo factory was '93, but in '92 you could special order a turbo, kinda like the tach on 1st gens.

And yes, a '92 wouldn't be a PowerStroke, they're reffered to as IDI engines. If you post it on a Ford forum, you may get a little but for it.

88's also had the 7.3
late 94 to early 95 was a turbo'd 7.3 which is the best model

Guys I know the Flower poke engine started in 95 model trucks. Sorry I should have been more clear. The truck I am looking at is a 96 4 door 4x4 f-350 stroker. so how much is that stroker worth do you think a stroker with 150-200K is worth

Anywhere from $6500 to $7500 depending on condition. Good is about $7000.

How much does it weigh?

hahaha

Just kidding.

I'd calla round to the local wreckers and price them out, see what they are asking for something simillar and then go from there.

Expect to get 10-25% less than what the guys that are in the business of selling them are getting.

Are you talking just the engine or the whole truck?
The way I read the OP you are asking what can you get for the 7.3 after you yank it out and transplant a Cummins.

Just the engine? Black Widow Diesel and a few other will have full reman long block going for $3000 to 3500. No accesories with that (though I think they give you some sotck injectors, can't remember anymore). Probably not worth a whole bunch without some work, looking at the $1500 range depending on whether you pull the HPOP, Turbo, injectors etc off and sell those seperately. And I do apoligize, missed we were talking engine only, not entire truck. Prices I previously listed were for entire truck in Fair, Good, and Excellent condition based on KBB prices.
