Uhmmm ..... 500 hp and 1000 ft/lbs for a twin turbo 13.9 liter V12??? Someone needs to explain to me why I should be impressed. I can't think of one area where this engine would be better than a Cummins 5.9 other than as a boat anchor.

Cool rod. but really.

its not even turbo charged.

an OEM rating on a 12v71 in a truck is 475hp.......so 500hp isn't exactly breaking the bank.

you have to show me the dyno sheet to make me believe it makes 1000ftlbs. at 500hp.

this 12v71 turbo is OEM 685hp.......stock.

Berak, sometimes it isn' about the power, but the sound and the attitude, and that thing my friend is music sweeter than an Angels harp, with the attitude of a Pit Bull..............

You have that right......Have them sit next to a Dyno stand with one of these OR a 453 screaming at you...Tuned up a KW with one of those AND with jakes. Let one of the kids at work test drive it. I've lost enough hearing...

Very nicely done - that interior is great. As for the V12 - it's really more about show than go, and nothing stops the average consumer in their tracks like a good V12. The fact it's a diesel (of sorts) just adds to the intrest.

But maybe I'll build something like this with a 12-Valve engine someday (when I have unlimited funds ) that could blow it's doors off...without breathing hard.

Dog gone it Iroc, you had to do it.............. My Dad worked on R3350's right after the war, as a kid I spent way too much time reading through his PW manuals and playing with his Radial wheel...... They always fascinated me, I still think that was why I love oddball stuff.

Now I gotta go dig up those manuals I have stuffed away somewhere......

And yea, 96, you would blow us away with that 12Valve, unless you count points for style.
