There are not sold so many new american cars here in Norway because the tax system is based on weight, horespower and and new for this year co2 pollution .Was engine volume before, and then they put 25 % tax on the top of all.
Us cars are heavy, have much horsepower, and big engine volume, and then the tax get sky high.
The suvs and trucks with total weight over 3500 kg was free from everything exept the 25 % tax if they were registered with out the rearseat as a 3 seater.
So there was sold a lot of us trucks here before 2006 but not anymore because now we pay tax the rules are so coplicated that I cant explain them
but the cars cost way to much from what you get i will guess a new ram diesel with 6 seats cost over $ 200000 here now.

Second thing is us cars dont have the best quality reputation here, and what kind of boring familycars do GM and Ford produce now, dont even now never seen any new one here.
Chrysler have some nice one that sell some here the voyager and 300.
A new 300 wagon with diesel is $125000.
75 % of the new family cars are diesel, we have diesel in everything and have had it in over 20 years
