This is the second Dodge I've owned. I had a '72 Demon for a couple of years. Been all Chevy other than that. When you grow up with a auto mechanic for a father, you kind of "adopt" his way of thinking. He worked for Dodge in the late '60s and early '70s but always drove Chevies. It was so cool at age 13 going to the shop after supper when the Sox and Martin team was in town and getting a close-up look. ;D
There's no way I'll ever drive a Ford though. He'd be spinnin in his grave if I ever stooped to that!!

Let's see. A Charger with a BB in it would be nice. Or a new Viper. ;D

My Dad worked for Chrysler as a mechanic then a service manager for thirty years...as a kid, i saw and experienced almost all of Chryslers's vehicles. IMHO Chrysler made good solid autos up until the early eighties..with the advent of the Aspen/Volare era
Of course the 60's and seventies muscle cars were Awesome, but todays cars (except the Viper) i find them to be all the same. They SEEM to be all built on a "Neons" platform/frame and even though they have different body styles and badging and fancy sheetmetal, they're basically alike.
The first car that i ever owned was a 1969 Dodge Polara. That was the most solidly built (almost Tank-like) car i have ever owned. Used to refer to it as the Queen Mary!
First car I owned was a 73 "Gold" Duster - Plymouth. It had the 318 which was good but always wanted the 340.

You can break the 318 also had it in my 96 Dodge 1500 4x2 and pulled my trailer below with not much problems. My retired parents have a LHS and it is very nice and rides on rails.

I like the old Dodge / Chrysler cars. Dad had a 61 Chrysler 300-G. Man what a car !! That cross-ram intake with a humongous 4-barrel on each side of the engine was a sight for any gearhead.

I'll get a Viper when Ed McMann stops by the house this year.

PISTOL

I liked my 95 intrepid, it was a nice car ........I don't like the newer intrepids, they don't look as nice

that new srt-4 is kinda neat.....a 215 hp turbo neon ....does o-60 in less than 6 seconds, quater mile in 14 flat and has a 150mph top speed .........all for 20 grand

can't really beat that ........I wouldn't buy one though, but that's cause I don't like little econobox cars no matter what the brand.......it's truck or large luxury sport sedans for me

that mercury marauder is more to my liking even if it is a ford .....
