Hey folks, has anyone gotten a copy of the latest issue of Truck Trend?? It has numerous diesel topics along with a
FORD 6.0 Vs Chevy 6.6 article.
They seemed to praise that 6.0!

Wondering what you guys and gals thought.

 

The ones that run right are great. I'm sure Ford went over the one they sent to TT with an extra fine tooth comb. Wouldn't be a good idea to send one with leaky injectors.

 

That magazine is pure garbage. There are more mistakes and untruth's in there than you can count.

 

I'll second Luke's comments on Truck Trend. They had a couple bright issues last year, and I started to buy them. Then they started to assail my eyes with nothing but how great the 6.0 is in the next two issues, and they ran a couple diesel tuning articles that made me sit up and go 'yeesh'. I'm going to use the mags as kindling next winter.

TT does seem to praise Ford quite a bit. I get a little annoyed at their who vs. who vs. who reports as they never seem to compare apples to apples to apples. Their is always something that each one doesn't have that the other does.

Yes readers do seem to point out "some" of their mistakes.

BUT in all fairness I do like some of the hopefully "truthful articles" they have.

 

I wish they would test like the "real" world. Like towing 2000 lbs more than the max tow rating, multiple high speed braking, loading over the max GVWR, etc. And do the testing for a period of one year. Then we can see which is the best vehicle.
